CE Principles
"For Christ and the Church"
Daily commitment is the key discipline of an Endeavorer and is affirmed in a simple pledge.
"Trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for strength, I promise Him that I will strive to do whatever He would like to have me do; that I will make it the rule of my life to pray and to read the Bible every day, to support the work and worship of my own church in every way possible, to tell others the good news of Jesus Christ, and just so far as I know how, throughout my whole life, I will endeavor to lead a Christian life."
Training in service is how an Endeavorer learns to live out four principles:
1. Confession of Christ

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. (New American Standard Bible)
2. Service for Christ

John 12:26
If any one serves Me, let him follow Me, and where I am, there shall My servant also be; if any one serves Me, the Father will honour him. (New American Standard Bible)
3. Loyalty to Christ's Church

Romans 12:4, 5
For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same functions, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. (New American Standard Bible)
4. Fellowship with Christ's People

1 John 1:3, 7
What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, that you also may have fellowship with us: and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. (New American Standard Bible)
