Our Strategies
We believe that in order to have an effective youth program a youth leader must maintain a balance
between their leadership and enabling youth to assume leadership roles. This type of participation
on the part of youth not only encourages ownership and interest in their youth ministry, but also
trains youth in leadership skills.
The ministry of Christian Endeavour strives to connect the priorities of the local
church with its own multi-faceted youth equipping ministry. On this basis church
leadership can be involved with each aspect of the teaching ministry and be confident that the youth
of the church are receiving solid, life-transforming, and biblical teaching.
The local church determines the theology, program, activities, and relationships that they desire for
their youth group. Christian Endeavour serves as a resource and support to the church
and its leadership. Our materials and resources are written to be inter-denominational in their
application. Church leaders ultimately have the responsibility for how the materials will be used while
at the same time be able to slant them to their own particular church or denominational theology.
Youth Equipping Ministry
When Christian Endeavour refers to our "multi-faceted youth equipping ministry" it includes the following elements.
Personal Growth: Christian Endeavour is a Bible-based ministry and resource
dedicated to the personal growth of each individual in their Christian walk.
Equipping Ministry: Christian Endeavour has been and always will be a "hands on
resource" that allows each young person to develop their gifts and skills for use in the local
church now and in the future.
Faith in Action: Christian Endeavour is designed to be an outreach resource that
allows young people to grow in their faith and witness as they interact with their peers and community.
Fun Times: Christian Endeavour believes we need to provide a variety of opportunities
to build character through interaction with others.
